Intensive Course A

  • 20 lessons of 45 minutes duration per week
  • Classes Monday to Friday, from 9am until 1pm
  • Average group size 10-14
  • All levels, from beginner to advanced
  • Sample of the programme content: conversation, interpretation of texts, grammar, expression, oral and aural exercises

Intensive Course C

Supplementary to Intensive Course A, you can choose one of the following subjects for 2 specialised workshops (total 6 hours a week)


Specialized French language Workshops open all year round:

Reading and Writing Proficiency, and Grammar
Writing techniques and communicative activities conducted through letters, articles, e-mails, postcards, notes, messages, narrative texts, reports..
Timetable: Tuesday, from 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Listening and Speaking Proficiency
Required language level : A1 to B1.3 according to the Common European Framework.
Oral building techniques and communicative activities conducted through discussion exercices, dialogues, songs, interviews, role-plays, simulations, study cases, phonetics…:
Timetable : Wednesday, from 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Theatre, texts and improvisations
Required language level : B2 to C2 according to the Common European Framework
Activities of understanding and production conducted through theatrical and quasi-theatrical situations, improvisations, role-plays and an approach to drama texts and plays.
Timetable: Wednesday, from 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m

Introduction to the TCF & TEF
To discover the french certifications through activities, exercices and original exam papers.
Timetable: Thursday, from 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Introduction to the DELF & DALF
To discover the french certifications through activities, exercices and original exam papers.
Timetable: Thursday, from 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Business French
Required language level : B1.1 and over according to the Common European Framework
Communicative activities in authentic business contexts.
To cope with basic business situations, to use appropriate business terminology, and to produce basic business or work-related messages, through notes, resumes and cover letters, professional correspondence, business courtesies, telephone techniques, client relations, e-mails, planning a business trip... and the use of CCIP exam papers.
Timetable: Thursday, from 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Reinforcement
Required language level : A1 & A2 according to the Common European Framework Oral and written tasks, and communicative activities tailored to meet the immediate needs of the novice French language learner.

Parisian Culture and Civilisation
Required language level : B1.1 and over according to the Common European Framework
Thanks to pedagogical and anecdotic walks through very well-known streets, discover some of the most reputed historical, cutural, litterary, and architectural Parisian neighborhoods.
Timetable: Thursday, from 2:15 to 5:15

Activities

  • Excursions to museums, galleries and theatres, lectures and parties are an example of the activities organized by the school.
  • The school's activities programme enables you to get to know both Paris and your fellow students better and quicker

Vis-a-Vis Plus
