For many people Montpellier is the most beautiful city of France. Montpellier is the capital of the Languedoc Roussillon region in the South of France, a region famous for its wine. It is a lively university city with a charming atmosphere and streets full of cafes and student bars in the midst of impressive squares and parks. The city's ambitious cultural programme, manifested in many of the small theatres and music clubs, owes much to the student community.

Montpellier is also famous for its innovation and high-tech projects which mingle with an historic town centre. Some of Montpellier's streets show its medieval character and 17th and 18th century manor houses are still to be seen in their original state.

Montpellier opens like an amphitheatre towards the Mediterranean with the long, sandy beaches of Palavas and Carnon-Plage being only a few miles away from the city centre. Here you also find the etangs (Lagoons) with huge colonies of wild pink flamingos.

Thanks to its excellent location between Provence, the Camargue, the Cevennes mountains and the Pyrenees, Montpellier offers a wide range of excursion opportunities.

For instance, you could take a trip to the mountain villages in the Cevennes, which for a long time were inaccessible, or there is Nimes, Avigon and the famous Pont du Card, a roman aquaduct more than 2000 years old. The Camargue offers excellent opportunities for horse riding and you can discover its uncrowded, sandy beaches and sand dunes.

Our partner school in Montpellier welcomes you in the heart of Montpellier's historic centre. It is situated just opposite the impressive Chamber of Commerce in a charming private mansion dating back to the 18th century. The famous 'Place de la Comodie', Montpellier's main square and a popular meeting point offering sunny terraces with a wide range of????C?a???Ÿ:?????????????????????????????? cafes and restaurants, is just around the corner. All monuments of Montpellier are in easy reach.

The school offers airy and bright tuition rooms ideally equipped for the interactive tuition method taught by highly qualified and experienced teachers. The tuiton is lively and the students are actively involved. Audio-visual equipment is available for students use.
