Annecy offers an abundance of beautiful scenery situated between the two big cities of Geneva and Lyon in the middle of the French Alps. A panoramic view of the mountains, fresh air and the lake of Annecy form the special surroundings during your stay. The lake is amongst the most beautiful and cleanest in Europe and offers plenty of water sports facilities, especially during the summer.

The city itself is very charming. It is a lovely place to go for a stroll, particularly in the historic centre of town with its small canals and narrow, twisting streets. Annecy is a magnificent holiday resort, both in summer and winter. During the summer you can go for long walks, hike in the mountains or cycle (bikes can be rented from the school) and during the wintertime good ski resorts can be found only 35 km away.

Our School

The Vis-A-Vis partner school in Annecy is situated just a couple of minutes away from the old town centre with the lake 15 minutes on foot. It has modern, well equipped classrooms, a large common room, the possibility to play billiards and a fitness room.

The summer courses in Annecy are very popular, so it is advisable to enrol well in advance.

The school is supervised by the University of Lyon and is an officially recognised examination centre.
